Masari dismissed the VC of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Professor Sanusi Mamman from his post

The Executive Council of Katsina State, led by Governor Aminu Bello Masari, has approved the President of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University in Katsina to resign immediately.

His removal from the position followed the report that the governor established and gave him advice, on the report that was presented to him on the complaints that were presented against him as reported by Focus News Hausa newspaper.

The council also ordered the chairman of the administration of the university, Umaru Musa Yar’adua, Professor Mu’uta Ibrahim, to immediately resign from his post.

The Adviser to the Governor on Higher Education, Dr. Bashir Usman Ruwan Godiya made this statement when he was meeting with Manema News, shortly after his exit from the Executive Council meeting at the Katsina State Government House today Wednesday, as reported by Katsina Daily News from Hausa DLC
